I've been blessed with wonderful family, friends, loved ones, and AMAZING critters all my life.  Please note these blessings are NOT listed in order of importance!  Little nod to my sweet Miss Marty, who I lost in January, after 12 wonderful years.

I'm a native Houstonian, and only left Houston when I began my reporting career in Palm Beach in 1968 as an official reporter, as well as free-lancing with Associated Court Reporters.  My duties included reporting court proceedings in the municipal courts up and down the Florida Coast; Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Miami, Hollywood, Fl.  It was exhausting -- but got my feet wet in the reporting industry and never looked back.

 When I returned to Houston, I worked for 5 years with a local reporting firm, and in 1973 opened a firm with my old friend and partner, Gloria Phillips, which was in operation until 1998, at which time I went to work for Esquire as Operations Manager, and stayed with Esquire until 2003, when I came to work for CRC in the billing department, and currently hold the position of Billing Manager for all of our CRC offices.  I don't miss my actual court reporting duties -- paid my dues for 30 years +, and enjoy still being in the reporting industry on the production side of the business.
